In the morning of 24 August, volunteers from our company and Youth League of Nanxun District delivered love to 69 students from low-income families for total donation of RMB180000.

Chen Fei’s grandma said with tears in her eyes “Your kind donation solved our pressing problems and kids now can go to school and pursue their dreams”. Chen Fei was from Cigu Qiao Village, Lianshi County and just got admitted to Tongxiang Technician Vocational School.

Chen Fei’s father was killed in an accident in July 2004 and the family had an 87 years older great-grandma. All field work was on 65 years older grandpa, 61 years old grandma took care of their life at home and living burden was all on the mother, Mrs. Zhou Jianying. The living cost of RMB1000 every month had left the family with difficulty and the education fee of RMB5000 caused more difficulty to this family.

With the donation of RMB2000 to family, it had brought confidence to them to conquer the difficulty.

On the same day, 55 high school students and 14 graduates from different counties of the district received respectively scholarship of RMB2000 and RMB5000.

It is known the activity of “Love in Nanxun, Dreams Come True” all together had helped 361 students from low-income families realized their dreams since its kick-off last May with support from many companies and the society. This year, the activity went further in forms of aiding and content of caring and carried out in three separate groups of youth from low income families, impoverished students entering high school and university, and impoverished migrants’ children.

In June 20, the first group of 105 youth from low income families received donation in total of RMB210000 from Giant Holding. Now the aiding scheme to the second group of students was successfully launched and the scheme to the third group will unveil soon.
