The sub-decanal of the Mechanical Engineering Institute of Zhejiang University Mr. Yang Canjun, the Deputy Secretary General of Zhejiang University Alumni Association and Education Foundation Mr. Gu Yulin, the Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League School of Mechanical Engineering Institute of Zhejiang University Mr. Yan Xiaolong, and the Chairman and General Manager of Giant Holding Mr. Qian Jiang attended the signing ceremony.
Mr. Qian Jiang firstly welcomed the coming of the teachers from Zhejiang University. He said Giant Holding is a long history enterprise with more than 60 days. The company had been cooperating with Zhejiang University for many years. Giant pays attention to practice the social responsibility, spare no effort to fund public welfare, philanthropy and public utilities, had ever got the awards of Green leaf of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Provincial Charity Award, and China Charity Outstanding Contribution Award, etc. He introduced that the company is in the key period of transformation and upgrading, just finished the industrial distribution, the company is looking forward to build more cooperation with Zhejiang University in the future.
Mr. Yang Canjun, representative the Mechanical Engineering Institute, thanked Giant Holding and all staff and introduced the basic situation of the institute. Mechanical Engineering Institute of Zhejiang University is the first found mechanical engineering institute of the country, and the average research funding for one person ranked the first of the country. Based on the school motto of Seeking the Truth, all the teachers and students step grounded, seek truth, focus on scientific research, and determine to contribute to the development of society. He emphasized this scholarship fund is not only the material gift to the institute, but also the spirit encourage, and hope the two parts build closer connection on project research and personal training on the basis of the original cooperation.
Later, the two parts formally signed the contract.
